S+H Construction, Inc. of Cambridge, Massachusetts, is pleased to be the recipient of the 2007 National Contractor of the Year (COTY) Award - Eastern Massachusetts region - in the Exterior Renovation category. The annual award, sponsored by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), recognizes the most outstanding companies, projects and craftsmanship in the remodeling industry.

This is the second consecutive year that S+H Construction has received a National COTY award.

The COTY competition is renowned throughout the remodeling industry and is considered the premier competition of its kind. After winning the Eastern Massachusetts NARI Silver Award for this same project in November, 2006 - a porte-cochere addition to a historic home in Wellesley - S+H Construction went on to compete on a national level before a panel of impartial judges. The judges selected winners based on each entrant's "Before and After" photography, scope of the project, method of problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty, and entry presentation.
