S+H helped a couple in Lexington turn their 10,000 square foot home into an beautiful, inviting, active space where every room, porch, terrace, and garden is imbued with the personalities of the homeowners and their children. This was a complete gut and renovation, including major structural work, custom built-in cabinets throughout, custom arts and crafts staircases, billiard room, wine cellar, crafts room, and all new exterior shingle siding and trim. The home's totally new landscaping and site work features a new stream, new pond, swimming pool, pool house, formal gardens, custom stone retaining walls, and custom stone paving.
