Porte Cochere in Wellesley.

On this expansive property in Wellesley, we built a porte cochere (car port) with a connector to the existing house. Columns rising out of masonry bases support custom-milled beams below the roof structure. The vaulted ceiling features a large hanging light fixture. The roof is rounded red slate with copper flashing. Custom site-fabricated benches bracket the cobblestone driveway. This project won the 2006 Eastern Massachusetts Contractor of the Year (COTY) Silver Award for Exterior Renovation. Read more here.
