This Victorian home near Harvard Square in Cambridge features a kitchen addition and a new wood-paneled library in the basement. Ornate gingerbread details were matched at many exterior locations. The wraparound porch at the front entry was completely rebuilt, using mahogany decking, custom-turned balusters, and an invisible fastening system. New copper gutters and flashing were integrated into the existing slate roof, and new sash were installed in the windows to match existing details. Project was designed by S+H Construction.
