We performed extensive carpentry for this brownstone renovation in the South End. Included in the work were two completely redesigned bathrooms, each with high-end fixtures. Large-framed shower stalls were surfaced with marble tile and custom built-in shelves. In the entryway and staircase, extensive finish carpentry helped to recreate the unit’s original paneling and woodwork. The kitchen and dining room also underwent significant changes. Significant improvements to systems, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC were performed. New countertops, appliances, backsplash and cabinetry were installed, in addition to a large island. In the first-floor living room, custom floating shelves border a large marble gas fireplace. A similar fireplace is located on the next floor in the penthouse family room. From there, a spiral stair leads to a skyline rooftop deck.
